Church of the Holy Redeemer

Meet Our Clergy & Staff

Priest in Residence

The Priest in Residence is a unique title for Holy Redeemer. Although Fr. Stephen (Steve) Wilson is not the ecclesiastical authority in charge of the congregation, he lives on the church campus, conducts worship on Sundays and provides pastoral support to the congregation.

Fr. Stephen Wilson is a native of Colorado and attended the Church of the Holy Redeemer with his family in the late 1970s.  Since September 2008, he has served Holy Redeemer as Priest in Residence.  Fr. Wilson graduated from the London School of Economics with a B.Sc. in Economics and received his M.Div. from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston Illinois in 1995. He was ordained priest in the Diocese of Colorado in 1995. Fr. Wilson returned to school in 2004 and received his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2007. Fr. Wilson is an avid gardener, maintains a private law practice, enjoys cycling,  and is a long term volunteer and supporter of the St. Francis Center.
